The perfect society is an impossible dream. Any system of government that puts men in charge of one another will be as fallible as the people who created it. Even the most well planned State will eventually crumble.
What is the solution? Is there an imperfect state that will suffice? And is everything in the world of Eidos impossible? Can there be an infallible creator of government? And what about democracy? Is it a better system because there is not one man in charge of all other men?
I think we need to live in a government, we just need to recognize that as of yet, we have not created the 'ideal' government yet. I'm sure there is a state in Eidos that has a perfect government, but its counterpart on Earth is corrupted, and thus not quite ideal.
Democracy is the best we've got so far, as it gives the people a voice, and allows the governed to participate in their government to an extent.
So are you saying we should not have government? Should we all live in a state of nature? Is that really possible?
